Mandatory SIM card enrollment laws expect individuals to give individual data, including a legitimate ID or even their bio-metrics, as a condition for obtaining or actuating a SIM card. Such a necessity enables the state to recognize the proprietor of a SIM card and derive who is in all probability making a call or communicating something specific at some random time.
SIM card enrollment undermines people groups' capacity to impart secretly, sorted out, and partner with others, and it encroaches their privileges to protection and opportunity of expression.
